For Another Day

This has been one of the longest weeks in a long time. And I have so much to tell you, but I really don’t have the time or energy to go into much detail about all of it.

I could tell you how The Sign is no longer in our yard. About how we decided against it when looking closer at the numbers. About how our neighbor is asking almost $25K more than what his house is worth. About all the exciting things we plan on doing to our house in the coming weeks. About how we are at peace with this decision and have no regrets. But I will save that for another day.

I could tell you about how I found out on Wednesday that a good friend of mine is expecting another child. About how I am thrilled for her. Or about how I was a little bit jealous too. But I will save that for another day.

I could tell you how the book I have been reading has given me chills everytime I pick it up. About how it is so powerful at times, it makes me literally sick to my stomach. About how, despite all of that, it is wonderfully written and extremely intoxicating. But I will save that for another day.

I could tell you about how much the questions you all gave me last week are really making me think. About how I am having a hard time answering a few of them. About how I am unsure of some of those answers that I think I have. But I will save that for another day.

I could tell you about how I am about to have to give up my lovely window office downtown. About how our team is losing offices due to new management and as the youngest member on our team, I am forced to move to an interior office. About how many people view all these changes as unnecessary. Or about how I am not really that upset because the office I will be moving to is more private than where I am now. But I will save that for another day.

Instead, today will be spent wishing you all a Happy Friday and a spectacular weekend. Today I will relax and reflect on the events of this week. Today I might be moving across the hall…

I agree with McMommy ~ Can you spill the name of the book??? :)

  23. Wow, you have so much to tell us…What’s the book?

  24. Okay, so that’s a lot to digest for yourself. Here’s hoping the stress diminishes and the clarity widens my friend!

  25. I holp your weekend was good!

  26. Girly you have a lot to tell/talk about this week.

Hope you had time to ponder everything over the weekend/or not. Maybe you just enjoyed your family.

Things seem very strange with the ol’coworkers. A lot of people don’t seem very happy with all those changes. Best of luck with it all sweetie.

  27. Yikes. You leave me begging for more…

    What book?

You know, your house is beautiful. The pool as I recall is delightful. I’m a wee bit jealous of it, so ya’ know. Maybe “the sign” will come back another day, but until then, you’ve got a great home.

  28. Yuck! I feel for you and all the turmoil, but am excited at the things that are promising – house renovations, new babies, etc.

    KEEP BELIEVING
