#1 – Benefit Instant Brow Pencil
I don’t know about you but my brows aren’t even and the ends are a little sparse. I found this little guy at Ulta a couple months ago and it’s quickly joined my band of merry men in my makeup bag and is a daily staple. It doesn’t melt or sweat off, it’s subtle and you can’t even tell it’s there, and it’s super easy to apply. I use the Medium shade. This will be a forever buy for me.

#2 – Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer
Cannot. Live. Without. I use this daily and will until the day I can no longer apply makeup. You use next to nothing so it lasts forever. Coming from someone who wears makeup from 4am until 9pm on weekdays, take it from me, this stuff is liquid gold! I use the Original but I love and have used all of them. If you buy their eyeshadow, ask because sometimes there is a sample with the different primers.

#3 – Diorshow Blackout Mascara
I have always been on the lookout for a perfect mascara. I cannot even name all the brands I have used, both from the drugstore and the high-end beauty brands. Diorshow is the cream of the crop. I use the non-waterproof version and it does not come off easily, even IN water. Major plus! This mascara also lasts a LONG time – I’m only on my second tube and it’s been a long while that I’ve used it. I’ve tried others in between but I keep coming back to Diorshow. It’s the end-all-be-all of mascaras for me.

#4 – Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Primer SPF 15
I recently changed to this one after using Benefit’s Hello Beautiful Foundation (loved that but wanted to see what else was out there). I had wanted a liquid foundation that was very lightweight. So I went to Nordstrom and talked with the consultant about different options. She matched me to the color Sand. While this foundation is not lighter than my Benefit one was, I am really loving it – it stays on ALL day (in the humid Texas weather I might add), it’s not streaky, and it’s still really light – I can’t really even tell I’m wearing it. Granted I’ve only worn this for about a week now, but I’m highly impressed that it lasted through a day in the rain AND a day at the rodeo! That’s a win in my book!

#5 – Urban Decay Naked2 Eye Shadow Pallet
To know me is to know I love my eye shadow. I will spend however much to ensure I am getting the best quality and the best bang for my buck. That buck stopped when I discovered Urban Decay eye shadow, specifically this Naked2 pallet. The colors are amazing. The eye shadow stays on and doesn’t fade at all. The colors blend wonderfully. This will always be a staple product for me. Of all my makeup, this is the one product I would not give up!

#6 – Benefit Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow
After I just got finished raving about my Naked2 pallet you may ask why Benefit cream shadow is on here. I’ve always loved the look of a cream shadow. I was also under the impression that they were messy, hard to work with and melted throughout the day. However, I love the brand itself and saw this color at Ulta and decided to give it a go. It’s great – it doesn’t melt, it’s not messy at all! This shade is called R.S.V.P. and I pair it with Naked2. It’s not an everyday staple, but I do enjoy wearing it.

#7 – Urban Decay All Nighter Eyeliner
My love of eye shadow can perhaps only be compared to my love of eyeliner. I’m Italian – I come by this stuff honestly! For years I have searched for a liner that does not bleed and is deep black in color and one that I do not have to reapply 50 times a day. I finally found it when it came as a sample with another purchase. The color is Perversion. And I was addicted immediately. This is my soul mate as far as eyeliners go. It’s not going anywhere. UD products make love to my eyes – I cannot live without them.

#8 – Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick
I was recently talked into a cream eye shadow color while at Nordstrom. The color was really beautiful. I’ve used it every day for a week now and have paired it both with the Benefit and Naked2 colors. The color is Golden Bronze. This isn’t a staple product but it’s a “right now” product. I really like the way it doesn’t fade or bleed and it stays put all day. And the fact that it is in a stick form makes it super easy to apply! I barely even need to blend it in – which is good because I’m no whiz at cream shadows.
